What is the Golden Goggles?

The Golden Goggle Awards, presented by the USA Swimming Foundation, is an awards ceremony that honors swimmers’ achievements over the last year. There are eight categories of awards: Breakout Performer of the Year, Coach of the Year, Perseverance Award, Relay Performance of the Year, Male Performance of the Year, Female Performance of the Year, Male Athlete of the Year, Female Athlete of the Year.  New York City and the Marriott Marquis will play host to the seventh annual Golden Goggle Awards! On Monday November 22, 2010, athletes and celebrities alike will come together in the ballroom of the world renowned Marriott Marquis in Times Square to pay homage to the 2010 Pan Pacific Championship Team.
