2025-2026 Tuition Structure

By registering for the Commonwealth Current, you are committing to the team and we are committing to you. Should you choose to discontinue enrollment with Commonwealth Swimming at any point in the season, the remaining tuition payment for the year is required to be paid in full, as well as any outstanding meet fees. The only exception to this is the Undercurrent Practice group, where only outstanding meet fees or other charges must be paid in full. Athletes will not be released to attach to another team until the outstanding balances are paid.

All accounts are required to utilize the AutoPay function of the GoMotion website. Once your registration is approved, you will be responsible for making sure the AutoPay portion of your account is established.

At the time of registration, a $450.00 fee per member will be processed. For returning athletes, this covers the cost of one silicone cap, three team shirts (to be distributed throughout the season), USA Swimming registration fee and our administrative fee.  For athletes new to the team, this covers the cost of two silicone cap, three team shirts (to be distributed throughout the season), and our administrative fee.

Athletes new to the team will need to complete their USA Swimming membership separately using the link provided by the team after team registration is complete.

Families with multiple swimmers will receive a 5% discount on each swimmer, excluding athletes in the Senior 1, Senior 2, National and High Performance Groups.

We offer three different ways to split your annual team tuition.  Registering with the team is a commitment to pay the full year’s tuition.  Choosing the Monthly or Quarterly payment options does not preclude an account from that commitment should an athlete cease participation on the team.

Monthly Payments - One month due at registration, and then repeated on the first of every month October-June.

Four Payments - One payment due at registration, and then repeated on the first day of February, April, June.

Full Year - One full payment due at registration.

Team Tuition covers the cost of attending practice.  There are other costs associated with the team throughout the year including but not limited to:  Meet Participation and Entry Fees, Team Travel, Apparel and Equipment.

Practice Group Annual Quarterly Monthly Annual Registration Fee
High Performance $5,100 $1,315 $535 $450
National Group $5,100 $1,315 $535 $450
Senior Two $5,000 $1,290 $525 $450
Senior One $4,800 $1,235 $505 $450

1. At the time of registration you will be charged $450.00 per athlete for the registration fee and one installment of your chosen payment structure. For example, one Senior One athlete on a Ten Installment billing cycle will be charged $505.00 + $450.00, for a total of $955.00.

2. Meet Fees will be invoiced in each month they occur and will be charged with all other recurring charges. In addition, there will be a $15.00 per athlete per meet charge to help offset coaches costs.

3. Meet Fees are non-refundable once meet hosts have accepted team entries.  We will do our best to withdraw athletes who are no longer able to compete, however in most cases if an athlete is committed to a meet at the beginning of the season they will be liable for the associated meet fees.

4. Accounts with outstanding balances may be prohibited from competition.

5. For all accounts with an outstanding balance after the 15th of each month will be charged a $25.00 late fee.

6. Prior seasons' balance due must be paid in full before a swimmer can register for the next season. This includes any outstanding Meet Entry Fees, Uniform Costs or Tuition Fees.

7. Refunds/Prorates are not available unless approved by Head Coach Chris Sheppard. The only exception is for long term medical leave (longer than 6 weeks), and it must be accompanied by a doctor's note. NO REFUNDS for swimmers suspended from Commonwealth Swimming for disciplinary reasons. Missed days are not subtracted from membership fees.

8. Swimmers out of the water due to medical issues lasting longer than 2 months may request a refund for team dues for the duration of the absence.

9. Although this is distasteful, the coaching staff will reserve the right to refuse admittance to practice for any swimmer due to delinquent fees.
