Good morning team,

 

We have a few important annoucements this week!

 

PRACTICE CHANGES

  • No dryland for any group Monday 11/14
  • We MAY have to cancel dryland Wednesday 11/16, I will send out a mid-week news blast on Wednesday morning letting you know.

 

MEET WEEKEND

  • We have two meets this weekend so it will be a busy one!
  • CRA swimmers will be with coach Kirsty and myself all weekend.
  • ORO swimmers will be with coach Hadleigh and coach DJ on Sunday (they will be at practice Saturday morning!)
  • Meet information will be sent out by Thursday morning of this week (possbily earlier)

 

PARENT APPAREL

  • A few of you have requested some team tshirts! We will be bringing those to practice starting Tuesday. Please send your swimmer in with cash or I can send you a venmo request.
  • We are trying to put together a team sweatshirt order for the holidays. Our printer is very back up on things so we are working with them to figure out how fast we could do something like this. Please keep an eye out for an annoucement and order form!

 

PORTSMOUTH PARKS AND REC MEETING

  • On Wednesday 11/16, the city of Portsmouth is having a meeting with an update on their recreation study.
  • I am not sure if they will be opening the floor for suggestions or chat, but if any Portsmouth resident is available this would be a great meeting to attend and mention the kids need more pool space in the colder months.
  • When Peirce Island shuts down, they only have access to the PIP and the Y. Portsmouth keeps insisting they have enough pools because they count Spinnaker as one. But only adults are allowed there.....
  • Coaches would love to attend but it buts up right against practice time. If anyone is interested, let us know!
