Good morning team,

 

Just a few notes today for mid-week:

 

PRACTICE SCHEDULE

  • Practice will all be normal times for dryland and swim the rest of the week.
  • Poseidon swimmers going to CRA this weekend will only have an hour and 15 minute practice Friday. If you are NOT attending CRA, you will have a 2 hour workout.

 

PORTSMOUTH PARKS AND REC MEETING

  • Tonight at 6 PM, the city of Portsmouth is having a meeting with an update on their recreation study.
  • This meeting is actually the second workshop, so it’s a little more focused on helping prioritize draft recommendations, but there is still time to speak up and VOTE!
  • The Recreation committee plans to leave materials out at the community campus to “vote” on priorities for the week before Thanksgiving. I believe they may be handing that out at the meeting this evening as well.
  • If you are a Portsmouth resident, this is really important! We would really love some more noise around a pool. Right now it sounds like a hockey rink is a hot item. As those of you who have attended CRA know, that facility is actually a rink and pool combined and if Portmsouth knew this was feasible they might be able to pair them together.

PARENT APPAREL

  • My apologies we have not brought your parent shirts in yet, but we will have them on us today!
  • We are trying to put together a team sweatshirt order for the holidays. Our printer is very back up on things so we are working with them to figure out how fast we could do something like this. Please keep an eye out for an annoucement and order form!
