***ATLA WEEKLY UPDATE - March 6th to 12th***

Good morning team,

 

First, a HUGE congratulations to Dylan Nichols for his perfromaces at 11-14 AG Championships. Here are some highlights:

  • 12 events qualified
  • 6 events swum
  • 6 events made A finals (top 10 finishes)
  • Two 3rd place finishes
  • Two 7th place finishes
  • Two 9th place finishes
  • 1 new team record
  • Scored 100 points on his own to place ATLA 29th in the LSC!

Way to go big D!

 

This is the last 3 weeks of the season! We have two more regular weeks and our final week will be a different schedule since we are no longer at the YMCA after March 19th.

 

PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR EMAILS!!! Practice changes are ALWAYS posted on this news section and emailed to parents as well as swimmers who I have listed emails for.

 

PRACTICE CHANGES

  • There will be NO DRYLAND for the remainder of the season for Leviathan, Siren, and Hydra.
  • NO DRYLAND for any group on Tuesday March 7th.
  • Poseidon will only be swimming 1.5 hours instead of 2 on Tuesday, Friday, Saturday.
  • All else is NORMAL!

 

FINAL TEAM PARTY

  • There was a scheduling conflict with the YMCA on the day we wanted to throw our team party so we will have to move the date.
  • NEW TEAM PARTY DATE: Sunday April 2nd!
  • We will be sending out an RSVP form for the party on WEDNESDAY. IF YOU DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS RSVP, YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PARTCIPATE IN THE PARTY. We need to send a final list to the YMCA and if your name is not on it, you will not be allowed in. This is for insurance purposes so we cannot make ANY exceptions. 

 

LAST MEETS OF THE SEASON

  • This weekend, coach Rhi is at B-Championships with Kian Chan, let's wish him luck!
  • Next weekend (March 17-19) coaches are down at CRA Trials/Finals meet.
  • The following weekend is TSSA Championships at UNH.
  • Meet info for each meet can be found in the events tab as well as events your swimmer is signed up for in said swim meet.
