We have a couple of reminders for the upcoming weeks that are very important. OUR SCHEDULE IS CHANGING NEXT WEEK!! Please read through!
PRACTICE CHANGES
- Starting Monday June 3rd we will officially be in our summer schedule.

SPRING/SUMMER END DATE INFORMATION
- If you signed up for the Spring season with a school release end date, your last day of practice is Friday June 14th.
- PLEASE CLICK HERE FOR A LIST OF SWIMMERS WHO ARE DONE AFTER 6/14
- If you signed up for the FULL Spring season, your last day of practice is Friday June 28th.

- If you signed up for the entire Spring and Summer season, your last day of practice is Friday August 2nd.

12&U VIDEO OPPORTUNITY
- This Friday May 31st, one of our local ASCA (American Swim Coaches Association) members will be coming to our pool to film some of our 12&U swimmers during practice time.
- This video event is for two projects he is working on, one is updating the ASCA teaching library videos and the other is for his underwater film business. We are getting these services for free!
- Videos may show up in a few places:
- The ASCA video library. This is a learning module ALL USA swim coaches have to go through before they are certified. A very important project.
- His underwater video business website.
- Lastly, he has also kindly offered to upload all video footage he takes to thumb drive so that you parents and the swimmers can watch!
- If your 12&U swimmer would like to participate, please fill out THIS FORM and bring to me at your next practice.
NEW ENGLAND SWIMMING OLYMPIC TRIALS EVENTS
- I have been working hard on a project for our LSC over the last 6 weeks and I hope everyone on our team particpates in some way!
- Please check out the New England Swimming website and look over their OLYMPIC TRIALS tab.
- Under this tab are a few things:
- New England Swimming Olympic Trials qualifier bios
- Links to Trivia and Pick Em contests
- Information on athlete Q&A
- On Sunday June 2nd @ 7 PM via ZOOM I will be hosting an athlete Q&A for the entire LSC. This is a really cool opportunity for our swimmers to listen to some really fast swimmers from our area and ask them some questions they want answered as well!
- HERE IS A LINK TO THE JOTFORM where you can ask any of our athletes a question. Or you can ask a general question to them all. Your name and team will be annouced with the question! Give us some good ATLA representation!
- The week of June 8th to 14th, I will be hosting a daily trivia game for the LSC through their website. There will be some awesome prizes for winners!
- The week of Trials, I will be hosting a pick em contest for the LSC. Each day swimmers can pick who they think will be qualifying for the Olympic Games at Trials finals each night. There will be a HUGE prize for the overall winner.
