We are SO excited to be back in the water tomorrow night! A few reminders for this week:

 

PRACTICE CHANGES

  • No changes this week, all practice is normal according to THIS SCHEDULE

 

REMINDERS FOR THE PORTSMOUTH INDOOR POOL

  • Please DO NOT drop off your swimmer more than 15 minutes early to practice time. This is in our contract from the city that I have to sign as a head coach each season. If you drop off and leave your swimmer at the pool more than 15 minutes early, it puts me in breach of our contract. PLEASE make sure we are following this rule. Thank you guys!
  • ALL swimmers must have their memberships active on the first day of practice. Please make sure you take care of this either today, early tomorrow, or at the time of practice. 

 

LOCKER ROOM USE

  • Last season was a bit crazy with the locker rooms and we did get spoken to about it by the pool staff. This season, we will have a chat with each swimmer ONCE about locker room behavior. Should the locker rooms get wild again this season, swimmers will have to come to the pool ready to swim and leave the pool without changing in the locker rooms. Thank you for your understanding on this matter!

 

SWIM MEET SIGN UP

  • All of our swim meets for the 2024-2025 season are posted on our website. Please take a look and sign up for these meets ASAP!
  • We encourage all newer swimmers and swimmers who like more relaxed meets to swim in the ORO meets at UNH, or the CS meets at Haverhill HS. 
  • We hope everyone will attend TSSA again this year!
  • Our team travel trip to UVAC will be happening again this year. 13 and older swimmers will get to travel with the team, 12 and under swimmers will need to plan to travel with a parent. (We MAY try and make this a travel meet for ages 11 & 12 as well, we will keep everyone posted!)

 

PARENT MEETING

  • The parent meeting will be in the first or second week of October. Once I onboard all the new tryouts, I will annouce a final date.
