Good morning team, 

 

Thank you to those who came to the parent meeting last night! I will be adding the $100 credit back to your accounts this week. If you would prefer me send it back to you as a refund instead of a credit, please email me ASAP and I will take care of it ;)

 

TWO WEEK TRIAL PERIODS

  • For you new swimmers, the two week trial period is now at an end. If you have decided swim may not be for you just yet, please reach out to me ASAP so I can process your refund. 
  • Otherwise you will continue to be billed on the 1st of the month for the rest of the season.

 

PRACTICE CHANGES

  • There are no changes to any practice this week! WOOHOO!

 

LAST CALL FOR NOVEMBER MEETS

  • Today is the last call for all of our November meets except the ORO meet on 11/17. That will be open for 1-2 more weeks.

 

PARENT JOBS AND INCENTIVES 2024

 

SAFE SPORT CERTIFICATIONS

  • As I mentioned last night, we will need a LOT of help with our hosted meet in January. The first thing we need to get done as a team is our safe sport recertification. 
  • I will send out specific details on how to complete this in the next few weeks. We are still waiting on the USA Swim registration system to be up and running properly in order to have new swimmers get their accounts going.

 

BUDDY WEEK AND FALL FESTIVAL

  • Our Atlantis Buddy Week will be Monday October 21st to Friday October 25th.
  • Buddy Week practice times remain the same for the Kraken, Leviathan, and Siren groups. Hydra, Triton, and Poseidon will be welcome to attend ALL of the Siren, Leviathan, and Kraken practices to meet their younger teammates and play some get to know you games as well as teach some skills to our younger swimmers. 
  • On Saturday October 26th we will be having our fall festival. More details on that will be coming this week!
  • Sunday October 27th is the ORO meet at UNH. We have a lot of first timers going and hope some of our older swimmers will come and cheer and support their teammates if they can!

 

TEAM STORES

  • Link and details to this season's team store can be found RIGHT HERE! It can also be found under the Required Equipment dropdown menu from our website home page.
  • I have placed our swim cap order so those will be coming in a couple weeks.
  • Our two seasonal team shirts are also in production. I hope to have these by the ORO meet.
  • I will be ordering some extra adult sizes of our team shirt. If you are interested in purchasing one, please let me know and send me your shirt size!

OFFICIALS

  • If you are interested in becoming an official, please reach out to me ASAP!
  • One of our PHX friends is an official's trainer and has kindly offered a few sessions to us to test the waters and see if you like it.
  • This weekend in Lawrence, she will be on deck letting people shadow her and ask questions. 
  • She will also be at the November 1-3 CS meet in Haverhill for the same thing.
  • Anyone can come who is interested in officiating, even if your swimmer is not in the meet!
