Kyle Browning | Head Site Coach | Senior Group
Kyle is very excited to become part of KINGFISH Swimming Medfield. Kyle was formerly the founder and Head Coach of the Adirondack Aquatic Club. AAC enjoyed much success ranging from consistent top 10 finishes at the LSC Championships to multiple Sectional through NCSA/NASA Junior National Qualifiers. Kyle has developed and coached multiple YMCA National/ USS JR National/Grand Prix Series/SR National level swimmers, as well as a two 2016 Olympic Trial Qualifiers. Kyle has had the chance to work with multiple levels of swimming. In 1993 Kyle started coaching with The Attleboro Bluefish under the late Paul Mangili. In 1998, Kyle took over as the Head Coach of the Hockomock YMCA, where HAY enjoyed success at the New England and National level. In 2001 Kyle started The Adirondack Aquatic Club. AAC experienced immediate success within New England Swimming .Kyle earned New England Swimming Age Group Coach of the year in 2007. 2008-2011 Kyle served as a volunteer assistant coach at Bryant University.Kyle resides in Norfolk MA with his wife Sarah and his two sons Mason and Cole. In his off time he likes to train for triathlons and compete in whatever distance races fall on free weekends. Kyle has competed in several half iron distance races including the 2011 Long Distance Nationals. Before the birth of Mason, Kyle completed his first Iron Distance triathlon…hopes to return to that distance someday. Kyle also works as a lifeguard at Horseneck Beach in Westport MA during the summer.
Oliver Michalewski | Assistant Coach | Junior Group
Oliver comes to Kingfish in his 15th year of coaching competitive swimming. Most recently he produced New England Age Group qualifiers and place winners and US Sectional qualifiers at the Adirondack Aquatic Club (2008-2016). During this time, he also assisted in the development of US Sectional place winners, Junior National Qualifiers, and Senior National Qualifiers.Oliver has previously worked with Magnus Aquatic Group and the Whitinsville Blue Dolphins (2005-2008) as a Lead Age Group Coach and Assistant Head Coach. He began his coaching career in 2001 as Head Coach of the Farmington Valley Parks and Recreation swim program. Adding to his experience, Oliver spent two years as Head Coach of the Franklin High School boys’ team (2011-2013).Oliver began his swimming career at Farmington High School (Class of ‘99), and continued at Division I ranked Central Connecticut State University. During this time, he achieved all-conference and all-state recognition and qualified for ECAC’s.In his “other life,” Oliver teaches Mathematics at Milford High School. He also resides in Milford with his wife Sharon and daughter Emma.
Kimberly Miller | Assistant Coach | Age Group 2
Kim Miller has been in the Boston area since 2008 after previously living in Phoenix, Arizona. Kim grew-up swimming year-round for USS programs in Tucson where she was a High School All-American, competed at the national level, and also swam collegiately at the University of Arizona. Kim has been coaching for over 20 years with rec teams in Arizona and Norwood, Massachusetts in addition to nine years with USS programs in Arizona, Scottsdale Aquatic Club and Glendale Arizona Swimming Gauchos, and is now beginning her third year with Kingfish Swimming . She was a Level 3 ASCA Certified Swim Coach and has worked with athletes who have qualified for Junior Nationals. Kim’s family has been part of the Kingfish Swimming/Adirondack Aquatic Club programs since 2011, her son Fitz swam at Miami University (Ohio) and Flannery is now swimming at Connecticut College. Kim earned a BA in Education from Arizona State University, and has over 30 years of marketing and event planning experience. Kim is currently director, marketing and educational programs at the Association of Strategic Alliance Professionals.
Tyler Stringfellow | Assistant Coach | Age Group 1
Tyler began his swimming career at the age of five years old under Coach Kyle Browning. Tyler had many successful championship meets under Kyle, the highlight was qualifying for both he 2019 NSCA Winter Championships and the Junior Nationals Open Water Swimming Championships. After high school, Tyler then went on to swim all four years at Bryant University’s Division 1 Swim Program. Tyler graduated in May 2023 from Bryant with a Bachelor of Science in Communications with a Minor in Management.
Aasia Romano | Assistant Coach | Developmental
Coach Aasia Romano grew up swimming for the Mass Bay Marlins under Coach Jay Craft before continuing her swimming career as team captain for Needham High School. She went on to swim at the collegiate level for M.I.T where she also served as senior captain. She began her coaching career in 2008, as an assistant coach for the Needham High School Boys Varsity swim team and helped coach the team to their 2023 Sectional win. She was also an assistant coach for the youth swim team at the Charles River YMCA. She currently works as a Gynecologist and lives in Needham with her husband, Keith, and three children who also swim for Kingfish - Soha, Adil and Asif.
