Welcome!

Joe Wang

Welcome everyone!

My name is Joe Wang, one of the coaches here at Karishim! I hope everyone is having a good vacation during these holiday weeks. If you are on Karishim, I'm sure you have seen my face around the team at this point and is familiar with me. If not, please come up and say hi! I'd love to meet you.

This is something new that we are going to add to this team's page. We are going to do a monthly blog post where we are going to just drop knowledge about swimming, whether it is the current events in the swimming world or the technical side of swimming (i.e., technique, new gear, papers about streamlining). This one doesn't really count because it is so late into December, but also because this is just an introductory post. Starting in January, we will start putting up a blog post.

In addition, I will also be using this to send out a monthly newsletter as well with any upcoming important dates and meet recaps. The meet recaps will serve as a summary of how the team did at the previous meet. This will list out the general habits that we are doing well on and the not-so-good habits that we still need to continue to hone in on.

That's all folks! Hopefully you are all looking forward to these post! As Professor Oak's grandson Gary says, smell ya later!
