Crimson 12&U meet recap

What a great day Sunday 5/26 was for our 12&U swimmers!  

We had 25 swimmers attend the Crimson 12&U meet, some of whom were swimming in their 1st ever meet!  Many swimmers were happy to see that the heat winners got ducks!  Not every meet does this but it is always a treat when they are given out.

Some highlights from the coaches in attendance

• Amanya L swam the 50 Fly which was her 1st swim meet event ever and she won her heat to get a duck
• Emma P overcame nervousness at her 1st meet and did a great job in the 50 free and the 50 back
• Brian J got personal best times in every event he swam and he completed the 100 IM for the 1st time.
• Many kids dropped time - some by more than 10s and many tried new events that they hadn’t swum before.
• Zoey H overcame some goggle issues at the starts of her events but she pushed through and didn’t get any DQs!
• Stella V overcame some obstacles and finished with a strong 200 free
• Cam D & Jordyn S finished with 1st place finishes in every one of their events
• Jake M earned himself an Age Group cut in the 100 Breast!
