Turkey Classic Trials Finals Recap

Over the weekend of November 22-24 our 11&over swimmers  headed to the beautiful pool at Phillips Academy Andover for the Turkey Classic Trials Finals meet.  This was the 1st Trials Finals meet of the season and for some swimmers their 1st one ever.  These meets are a great challenge since they can be long and tiring and swimmers may end up swimming their events twice in one day.  We were prepped for this meet and were ready to go.  There were so many great swims but some highlights include:

• Trista P had a great meet dropping time every time she swam and making Finals in all 6 of her events 
• Alyssa A took off over 17s over the course of prelims and finals in the 200 IM swimming
• Mae M also swam the 200 IM twice in 1 day and dropped over 23s
• Cat D had a strong showing making finals in all 4 of her events over the course of the weekend.
• Cam D finished strong in his 1st 1650 Free
• Brynn L, Declan L and Zoey H, Mikeala M, Zofia Q  all were excited (and maybe a little nervous) to make it back to Finals in their first T/F meet!
• Breighton L ended up swimming in the B Finals of the 13-14 200 Fly alone which is not an easy thing to do
• Helena S has been working hard and made her 1st Senior cut in the 100 Back.
