Shawmut Seniors Travel to Cary, North Carolina

Shawmut Seniors attended the January Jubilee Meet hosted by the Raleigh Swim Association in Cary, North Carolina, January 14-17. This trials/finals meet welcomed some of the most competitive teams on the East Coast, and it was a great opportunity for our group to race swimmers outside of the LSC.
 
Shawmut swimmers posted numerous best times and new additions to the SAC Top 5 Lists. Three Shawmut Records were broken over the weekend. Abby Benkert broke the girls 13-14 200 IM record by almost two seconds, posting a time of 2:08.51. Emma Benkert broke the 11-12 girls 100 freestyle (56.08) and 1650 freestyle (18:27.89) records.
