Shawmut places 5th overall at New England Seniors

Shawmut scored 873.5 points over a tough and rewarding weekend. Great swims from our swimmers resulted in Shawmut finishing 5th.

• Billy Knaul placed 7th overall for high point, placed 1st in the 200 fly and set a new team record, and finished 3rd in the 100 fly
• Mitchell Gariepy placed 3rd in the 100 breast
• Belinda Donohoe placed 3rd in the 50 free and 1st in the 100 free, and set new team records in both events
• Andrea Wei placed 3rd in the 100 and 200 fly
• The women’s relays set new team records for the 400 free, 800 free, and 200 medley relays
• The women’s 800 free relay placed 1st, and their 200 medley relay 400 medley relay both placed second
• The men’s 200 medley relay finished third, and set a new team record.
