Shawmut secures 3rd place at 15-18 Champs

Tough swims this weekend earned Shawmut a 3rd place title at WPI. Big swims from our relays include:

  • 1st place finish for the women’s 400 medley and 2nd place for the women’s 400 and 800 free relay
  • 1st place finish for the men’s 400 medley relay and new team record, 3rd for the men’s 400 free, and 4th for the men’s 800 free relay

More notable swims include:

  • Billy Knaul finished 2nd in the 200 fly and broke the 500 free team record
  • Belinda Donohoe placed 2nd in the 50 free and 100 free
  • Ali Robertson placed 2nd in the 400 and 200 IM
  • Andrea Wei placed 3rd in the 50 free and 100 free, and 1st in the 200 fly
  • Isabel Berdecio led off the 400 medley relay with a new team record in the 100 back
