Post-college David worked as a biochemist and health science researcher pursuing graduate studies in nutrition along the way. He never lost his love for swimming or mentoring and dove back into coaching after the pandemic. In the fall of 2022, David joined United Swim Club as an assistant coach and grew into the role of Lead Age Group Coach by the following year.
