2024-2025 SCY Championship Meet Highlights

Senior Championships

This year we took our largest group ever - 18 swimmers - to New England Seniors. Seven of these athletes were competing at NE Seniors for the first time! This talented group came in 12th overall (out of 30 scoring teams) which is impressive given how small we are compared to a number of the teams in attendance. The swimmers did a great job pushing themselves through multiple events, cheering/supporting each other and competing in point scoring relays. Every swimmer competed in at least 1 event each day, swimming 1 or more best times and supported each other on/off the deck all weekend. Shoutout to Isabela Teixeira for earning 87 points for the team and Aiden Gouldson for earning 13 points for the team!

Our USC boys came in 3rd overall with 1,139.5 points and our USC girls came in 2nd overall with 1,430 points! Months of hard work and support culminated in fast swimming across the board at this exciting meet. Almost every swimmer achieved at least 1 or more best time with many swimmers matching or beating their prelims times when earning the chance to swim again at finals (and so many did swim again at finals!). Swimmers were supportive of each other through the many swims and long sessions whether by having a good laugh between events or cheering each other on at the end of the lanes!
