Swim Families – Important Updates & Reminders

1. YMCA Driveway Parking Reminder
There is absolutely NO parking, standing, or waiting at any time in the YMCA driveway unless you have a handicap parking permit.

Yesterday, a member with a permit tried to pull closer to the building, but a parent was in the closest space waiting for a child. This cannot happen.

If you’re unsure what this refers to, please see this article.

Please note: Any further violations may require Erin to monitor this area during family pickup, and we don’t want to see Erin freeze in the cold! ❄️ #SaveErin

2. Support for Tyler LaDue
A YMCA District Swimming family member, Tyler LaDue, is currently fighting leukemia. Tyler was a Fulton swimmer and is the son of Jim LaDue, the current Fulton swim coach who devotes significant time to the program.

If you are able, please consider supporting Tyler in his fight:
Donate to help Tyler beat leukemia

3. Pool Area Reminder
No eating or food is allowed in the pool areas.

4. Level 1 Officials Training Opportunity
We need a few more officials to get trained this year to reduce strain on our current officials and minimize risks in future seasons.
