Invite Meet/December Practice Changes
This past weekend we had 58 swimmers attend the 3 ½ day Star Invite Meet at ECC. In the pool, we couldn’t have been prouder. Our team posted 64% Best times. Our swimmers were supportive of one another and had fun cheering on their teammates. We had 10 new swimmers qualify for the Niagara Gold Championship meets. Thank you to our parent volunteers at this meet. As a coach, it was calming to never hear our team name called out looking for our timers, THANK YOU!
Practice Schedule Changes- The boys High School Varsity and modified seasons are in full swing therefore, be sure to check the Calendar for practice changes. We have posted the Christmas Break Practice schedule. The team will only have the Orchard Park pool during this break and practices will run between 9:45AM and 1:15PM when the school is open. There will be no evening practices during this break. All practices from December 22nd-January 3rd are posted on the calendar. If a group is NOT listed on the calendar, they do not have practice that day. The practice schedule for this break is ONLY posted on the calendar.
Annual Christmas/Holiday Relays & Games- We are excited to carry-on this tradition on Monday, December 15th at Orchard Park. White/Blue Teams will celebrate 5:30PM-6:30PM. Silver/Junior/Senior Teams will be from 6:45PM - 8:00PM. The swimmers will be in the pool during their scheduled times. We hope to see you there!
Power Point Meet Registration Open- Coaches will begin selecting events for the Power Point meet in mid-January. If your swimmer is not registered and would like to attend, please register today! Be sure to note the days you will be attending, this is a 3-day meet in Webster.
Be sure to keep Silver and Gold qualifying meets on your radar by checking the Meets/Events on our website. Qualifying times are found under each meet, as the meet information becomes available and under Times & Records Tab.
Congratulations to all of our Swimmers of the Meet & Month. Your swimmer should check their family folder on deck at OP for meet awards, bag tags and caps given out.
