Coaches and Directors
With a personal competitive swim background, Becky brings years of experience and expertise to the TWST coaching staff. Becky began her swimming career with the Stingrays where she was a three time Zone Qualifier, later moving to Star where she was a seven time Junior National Qualifier. After high school, Becky continued as a Division 1 swimmer for four years at St. Bonaventure. During this time, St. Bonaventure’s women were 4 time Atlantic-10 Champions with Becky being an A-10 champ in nine events. She was a nine time champ at Easterns and during her senior year the team won the Eastern Intercollegiate Championships. Becky also held nine school records during her college career and was named SBU Female Athlete of the Year her senior year. She was inducted into the Sacred Heart Academy Athletic Hall of Fame in 2002 and the St. Bonaventure University Athletic Hall of Fame in 2006 for her accomplishments in swimming. This experience allows Becky to share her expertise with every swimmer, encouraging them to be much more confident and better prepared during their own swimming careers.
Becky has been coaching with TWST since 2009 and coaches because she loves teaching young swimmers while helping them develop as competitors and people. In 2012, she was chosen as the 11-12 Girls Eastern Zone Coach for the Niagara Zone Team. She has served on the Niagara Swimming LSC Board as the Junior and Senior Coaches Rep in 2014-2016. She was awarded the Niagara Swimming 2016-17 Senior Coach of the Year. She has been a member of the Niagara LSC Tech Planning Committee since 2017, the High Performance and the Safe Sport Committees since 2019. For the 2025-2026 Season, Becky is the lead coach of our Silver and Senior Team.
Becky and her husband Jake have raised their three children in Orchard Park, all of which have graduated from Orchard Park High School and swam for TWST. Their children graduated from University at Buffalo/Florida State University, Canisius College/University and US Military Academy at West Point.
Sarah started swimming when she was 5 years old and quickly fell in love with the sport. She swam for STAR for over a decade, where she held many team records as well as Niagara District records, attended several Eastern Zone meets, and qualified for Junior Nationals for the first time at age 14 in the 1500 meter freestyle. She picked up several other Junior National times as a 15 year old and finished her time swimming in the Niagara District as a Tonawanda Titan. While attending high school at Mt Mercy Academy, she was the Msgr. Martin All Catholic MVP during her freshman, sophomore and junior years before transferring to Pine Crest Preparatory School in Ft. Lauderdale, FL for her senior year. Sarah was a finalist at Junior Nationals in all of her events while swimming for Pine Crest, and qualified for Senior Nationals for the first time at age 16, when she was the state of Florida high school runner up in the 100 yard butterfly. After adding more Senior National qualifying times to her accolades that same year, she was recruited by several Division I collegiate swimming programs, ultimately choosing the University of Georgia as her landing place. Prior to starting at Georgia, she was inducted into the Mt Mercy Academy Sports Hall of Fame and was a finalist at Senior Nationals in the 200 and 400 meter IM and the 200 and 400 meter freestyle.
Lauren began swimming for Star at the age of 4 where she held several team records and attended several Eastern Zones meets and Junior National Meets. While swimming at Frontier High School she was a 5 time Sectional Champion and State Finalist in the 100 back and 200 IM and was inducted into the hall of fame. Lauren was recruited by the University of Massachusetts where she was a co-captain her senior year in addition to becoming an Atlantic 10 Champion, school record holder and Female Scholar Athlete of the Year. In addition to swimming Lauren served on the NCAA Steering Committee and the Students Athletics Advisory Committee. While at UMass, she also rowed for 2 years where she was an Atlantic 10 Champion, Dad Vail champion and finalist in the Royal Henley Regatta.
Lauren began coaching in 2002 for the Amherst Tritons. After graduating from college she went on to coach for AFox Swimming, Curl-Burke Swim Club, West Seneca Sharks, Star Swimming, West Seneca West and Frontier. After a long hiatus from the pool deck, she is excited to return for her second season to share her expertise and love of the sport. In 2025, Lauren became lead coach of our White and Blue teams. Lauren and her husband Jeff have two children, both of which currently swim for TWST.
Allison began swimming at the age of 3 for the Hickory Hill Country Club and joined TWST by the age of 7, where she swam until the age of 18. While in high school, she was a member of the Orchard Park Varsity Swim team and a NYS Qualifier for the 4x100 relay her Sophomore, Junior, and Senior year. She was team captain both her Junior and Senior year and graduated as class Salutatorian.
From 2018 to 2019, Allison volunteered as a student coach for the blue and silver teams. After graduating high school the spring of 2019, Allison swam for the Rochester Institute of Technology for one semester, acting as their long distance swimmer, before transferring to the University at Buffalo. This is her fourth year on deck coaching for TWST as a lead coach for all of our groups.
She is entering the second year of her PhD Program at the University at Buffalo, where she is majoring in Biomedical Engineering. When not studying, she enjoys playing with her cat, running and listening to music. Her favorite stroke is freestyle.
Isabel began swimming at TWST at age 8 until age 18. While in high school, she was an Individual NYS Qualifier during her Sophomore, Junior and Senior years of high school. She is the current Orchard Park High School and Section VI, 200 Medley Relay Record Holder and graduated from Orchard Park High School in 2019.
Pat has been coaching for TWST since 2018 and lifeguarded from 2015-2018. He grew up in Orchard Park, and completed his Masters Degree in Eduaction at the University at Buffalo perusing a career in teaching history. He has coached for TWST year-round since 2018. From 2017-2020 Pat coached multiple age groups at Hickory Hill Swim and Tennis Club.
Pat’s swimming career started at Hickory Hill where he swam during the summers until he graduated from Orchard Park High School in 2018. While attending OP, Pat started off playing for the school hockey team, where he captained the JV club team both freshman and sophomore years while also playing for the varsity club team sophomore year. Wishing to be in the pool more, Pat left the hockey team and joined the OP varsity team, where he swam in his remaining two years of high school. During his senior year of high school, Pat also joined TWST as a swimmer hoping to improve in the water. He was a member of our Junior team during his last year of high school. He was the lead coach of our Silver team for 3 years.
This season, Pat will be teaching full time at Bishop Timon High School and is the Head Varsity Swim Coach of the Girls & Boys Frontier High School teams. Pat will be assisting with all of our levels this sesaon. He uses his love and experience for swimming to try to pass his passion on. On top of swimming, Pat loves hockey, the Cleveland Indians, music, computers, and Star Wars.

Hannah swam from ages 8 to 14 and then began swimming for Hamburg Girls Varsity Swimming for 2 years. For 3 years she coached for Hamburg Swim Club. At HSC, she was in charge of their Learn to Swim program which consisted of working with swimmers ages 3 to 5. Hannah was a lead coach for the youngest group and helped co-coach all the other age groups. Hannah has been lifeguarding since she was 15 years old and helps out when needed.
Hannah graduated from Geneseo with a Biology Degree in 2018 and worked for the Health department the past 2 years. She graduated from the Accelerated Nursing Program at UB in May 2022 and is currently a traveling nurse.
This will be Hannah's third season working with our White and Blue Teams! She loves hiking, reading and watching movies.
At the age of 6, Elizbeth began swimming for Eden Dolphins Swim Club and joined TWST at age 13, finishing out her high school years with our club. She competed with TWST year round and attended the Niagara LSC Gold and Silver Championships every season.
Liz was a member of the Hamburg High School Varsity Team for 4 years and was team captain during her senior season. She was also a New York State Championships High School Qualifier as the backstroker in the 200 Medley Relay and currently holds that record at Hamburg High School. From 2016-2019 she worked as a swim lesson instructor and lifeguard at the Eden Town pool.
Liz attended the Rochester Institute of Technology from 2019-2024 where she received her Bacholor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering while minoring in Environmental Science. She was a member of the RIT Women's Swim Team from 2019-2024 where she was named team captain during her last 3 seasons.
She recently began working at Aptronics LSI in East Aurora as a Manufacturing Engineer. She will be assisting with our White and Blue Teams this season. Liz enjoys hiking, white-water rafting, going to the beach and reading.
Nick began swimming Modified at Orchard Park Middle school, quickly developing a passion for the sport. He joined the Hickory Hill swim team over the summer before starting at Orchard Park high school. After his freshman year, he continued to refine his skills by joining TWST druing the fall of 2016. As Nick became more engaged in the sport, he gratefully took the opportunity to become an assist high school coach during junior year.
After graduating from Orchard Park High School, Nick pursued a degree in Chemical Engineering at the University at Buffalo. Despite the rigorous academic path, he stayed connected to his love of swimming, continuing to coach the Swimming and Diving Team at Wanakah Country Club during the summers and the Men's Varsity Swim Team at St. Francis High School during the winters. Nick joined the TWST Staff in May of 2024 and will continue with our program this season.
Maria began swimming on West Seneca Sharks at the age of 7, later moving to TWST at the age of 8 until age 17. Maria began her varsity swimming career at West Seneca East High School in 8th grade. She is a record holder for the 200 Medley Relay at West Seneca East High School. Maria then attended Nardin Academy High school where she swam for the varsity swim team for four years and was the team captain during her junior and senior year. After Graduating from Nardin Academy in 2020, Maria is continuing her education at Daemen College. She is in the 5 year PA program studying to become a Physician Assistant.
Maria has 7 years of experience as a swim instructor and lifeguard at Orchard Park Recreation. She has taught a variety of ages between 2 years old and 25 years old. She will be assisting with all or our groups this season.
Maria’s favorite stroke is Butterfly. Other than swimming, Maria also loves playing lacrosse, traveling, working out and listening to music. This is her 5th year of coaching at TWST which allows her to share her love for the sport!
Elle began swimming at age 7 for Springville Waves Aquatic Team (SWAT) and joined TWST at 13 until she graduated high school in 2019. As a TWST swimmer, Elle was a relay member at the NCSA Championships for two years. As a member of the Springville Griffith Institute Varsity Swim Team, Elle was the first female in school history to qualify for the NYSPHSAA State Meet, which she attended three times and competed in the 100 freestyle and 100 backstroke. She currently holds 11 school/pool records.
Elle attended and competed four years for RIT’s Women’s Swim Team. At RIT, Elle was a member of the 400 freestyle relay team that set a school record and qualified for the DIII NCAA National Meet. She graduated in 2023 with her bachelors degree in Biotechnology and Molecular Bioscience. She then attended Case Western Reserve University and earned a masters degree in Genetic Counseling in May 2025. Elle helped coach the CWRU Varsity team for one year.
This will be Elle’s first year coaching with TWST and she is excited to be back in Buffalo. She looks forward to working with the swimmers and growing as a coach. This season, she will be working primarily with our Blue and Silver Teams.
Liam began swimming at Willow Bend Club in Hamburg, NY in first grade before moving to Hickory Hill and eventually TWST. He competed with TWST for 10 years and swam on the Orchard Park Varsity team for 4 years.
Liam has 7 years of coaching experience, including serving as an assistant coach for TWST’s Blue Team during high school and as Head Coach of the Hickory Hill Swim Team while in college. After graduating from Orchard Park High School in 2021, Liam attended Kent State University in Kent, Ohio, where he graduated in spring of 2025. Outside of TWST, he works full-time as a Business Advisor at Odoo Software.
This will be Liam’s first season back with TWST since 2020, and he is excited to return to the pool deck to help swimmers improve and grow. This year, he will be working with the White, Blue, and Silver teams. Go TWST!
