'Cudas Soar at Condors Fall Festival

We started off our competition season by traveling out of our LSC for the 2022 Condors Fall Festival in West Nyack, NY over the weekend. There were a few hundred swimmers from the dozen teams competing, and we are very proud of our swimmers’ results!

Of our 62 splashes, about 80% were either first-ever swims (16) or Personal Best Times (33)! Of those Personal Bests, some were quite notable like Julia Dutzi’s 50 Fly (-21.60); Ty Hollar’s 200 Back (-22.82) and 200 Breast (-15.48); Alex Johnson’s 100 Breast (-10.13); Connor Kovach’s 100 Back (-10.24) and 100 Breast (-10.80); Leah Lozada’s 100 Free (-9.86) and 200 Breast (-18.91); and Jamason Trout’s 100 Free (-14.88);  just to name a few! 

A special congratulations to Nathaniel Kern who earned 4 First Places (50 Back, 50 Fly, 100 Fly, 50 Free) and set a new team record in the 200 Fly; and to Ty Hollar for setting a new team record in the 200 Breast!

All-in-all it was a fun weekend and a great start to our competition season!
