Our swimmers had another great meet this past weekend at REBEL’s Splashing Pumpkin Invitational at the Jersey Aquatic Center in New Providence! Congrats to our 29 swimmers who competed at the CONDORS Fall Festival at Feliz Festa Middle School this past weekend. They joined swimmers from 14 other teams for our first outing of the season. It was a successful meet with lots of Personal Bests, top finishes, and a few Gold times! Expectations should always be tempered for the first meet of the season. October 4th is a busy day within our LSC. NJ Swimming is hosting two simultaneous events for swimmers in tandem with its annual HOD Meeting. All events will take place at the Jersey Aquatic Center in New Providence, NJ. We are canceling our regularly scheduled practices that day so that swimmers can participate. We will offer a Friday night practice for Juniors the night before so they don’t miss out on their water time. On Tuesday, September 23rd, we will be holding our first Swim Swap of the season! What's a swim swap you ask? If your child has any swimsuits (still wearable please), equipment, clothing or gear that they no longer use or have outgrown, please bring it to the table on deck to donate to others on the team who may be able to use it. We're proud to share our coaches Cali, Hannah, and Rowan will be attending the 49th Annual Eastern States Coaches Clinic in King of Prussia, PA. They will train alongside olympic coaches and athletes, along with some of the top industry leaders in the swim world! It will be exciting to see what they bring back to enhance our swimmers training and experiences! We had some great swims at this season’s NJ Swimming LC Gold Championships at Rutgers’ Sonny Werblin Rec Center this past weekend! With some fast times just to get into the meet, we are proud of our qualifying swimmers! Rylee Bambara (100 Back) was seeded 33rd going into prelims, and splashed her way into 21st. What an exciting showing at this season’s NJ Swimming’s 13&Over Silver Bronze Championships at Rutgers University this past weekend. They joined hundreds of swimmers from throughout the LSC for a weekend of fast swimming, splashing in a number of Personal Bests and Top Places. Our qualifying swimmers had a great meet at this season’s NJ Swimming’s 12&Under Silver Bronze Championships at Princeton University this past weekend. Denunzio Pool saw many exciting swims by swimmers throughout the LSC over the two day competition. Our swimmers traveled to Allentown, PA this past weekend for some fun outdoor swimming at the PAAC Firecracker Meet- and they had a blast! They joined swimmers from 33 different teams, mostly from Mid Atlantic Swimming, for a change of pace and fast racing.
