Kevin Storrs Winter Festival

Our swimmers traveled outside our LSC to attend this season’s NDAC Kevin Storr’s Winter Festival at Valley Central High School in Montgomery, NY. They had a great weekend and returned home with many achievements to boast about.

An incredible 33 Top 3 finishes were swum, including First Places by Reese Berg (400 IM); Julia Dutzi (100 Fly); Ty Hollar (100 Back, 100 Free, 200 IM); Alex Johnson (100 Breast); John Wintermute (200 Fly, 400 IM); and Jack Zaimis (100 Breast). Wow!

Some of those we the 57 Personal Bests out of our 120 splashes, with some standouts like

Carter Bambara’s 50 Fly (-14.47) and 100 Back (-19.01); Adam Marton’s 200 Free (-58.07); Daniel Marton’s 200 Free (-44.87); Colbie Mosher’s 100 Free (-7.17); 50 Back (-7.45); Sabrina Motyka’s 50 Back (-22.44); Channing Muller’s 50 Breast (-5.73) and 50 Fly (-6.22); Joanna Norris’ 50 Free (-7.14); Ryan Pando’s 100 Free (-6.77) and 50 Free (-19.00); Briella Selby’s 100 Breast (-5.22) and 500 Free (-18.72); Sam Taylor’s 200 Free (-8.78); and John Wintermute’s 200 Fly (-6.23); just to name a few!

Gold Times were swum by Ana Apostolou (50 Fly) and Reese Berg (200 Breast) in their current age groups, along with 20 Silver times!
