NJB Shines at Annual EEX Holiday Classic

In what is one of the premier mid-season meets for the region’s finest swimmers, athletes from across New Jersey (and beyond) went head-to-head at Rutgers University for the Holiday Classic XXXV, hosted by Eastern Express. There were hundreds of swimmers from 28 different teams competing. Just qualifying for this meet (and getting in) is notable!

Our 8 qualifying attendees had an amazing weekend. This crew represented our club well with all our swimmers making appearances in Finals, swimming a bunch of State times, a few Zones cuts, 31 Personal Best Times, and 13 new Team Records. For their efforts, NJB finished 14th of the 24 teams.

With prelim events boasting dozens of swimmers (some 80+), NJB grabbed an incredible 28 top-16 scoring places, including 6 First Places by Ty Hollar (500 Free); Nathaniel Kern (100 Free); and Hannah Wilson (200 Back, 200 Free, 500 Free, 1000 Free). Wow!
