A Super Saturday at the PTAC Kickoff

Our ‘Cudas traveled to the Princeton Middle School on Saturday to join 7 other teams for a late-season meet of fast swimming at the 2023 PTAC Kickoff. By the end of the day our 30 attending swimmers proved they were ready for the Championship season earning Top Places, Personal Best Times, and more!

They made their presence known, splashing in 21 Top-3 finishes throughout the day, including Firsts by Rylee Bambara (50 Free); Reese Berg (100 & 200 Breast); Salome Calderon (500 Free); Ty Hollar (100 Breast, 200 IM, 50 Free); Jonathan Kern (50 Fly); and Nathaniel Kern (100 Breast, 400 IM).

Of their 96 splashes, 39 were Personal Bests (40%), including some big drops like Cameron Atkins’ 100 Breast (-6.43), Nataasha Bhagaloo’s 100 Free (-5.47), Jonathan Kern’s 200 IM (-7.03), Connor Kovach’s 100 Breast (-7.48), Briella Selby’s 100 Free (-14.34), Michael Signorile’s 200 Back (-5.39), and Evan Weinberger’s 200 Free just to name a few.

A special shout-out to Nathaniel Kern for setting a new Club Record in the 400 IM!
