Wilson Attends 2023 Eastern Zones Select Camp

Congratulations to Hannah Wilson who was selected to be one of the 56 swimmers to participate in the 2023 Eastern Zone Select Camp sponsored by USA Swimming. The camp ran Thursday 5/18-Sunday 5/21 at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Participants were made up of a handful of Age Group champions throughout the Eastern Zones that have top IMX scores.

The Eastern Zone Select Camp is one of four Zone Select Camps held each year. In each zone, 28 girls and 28 boys are chosen to attend, with the girls being ages 12-13 at the time of their performance and boys being 13-14 years old.

The camps consist of both in-water practices and classroom sessions that cover various information designed to motivate and empower athletes as they continue their swimming careers. Hannah shared her intense three-day itinerary with her coaches and had a great experience.
