Swimming Into The Holidays at BB Snowflake Meet

There was a lot of fast swimming this weekend at the BB Snowflake meet at Rutgers University. Our Barracudas joined 11 other teams for some pre-holiday racing, and came away with a bunch of fantastic swims!

By the end of the weekend, our 15 NJB swimmers had accumulated 23 Personal Bests out of our 44 splashes. Some of these were super exciting, like Cameron Atkins’ 100 Free (-19.59) and 50 Free (-9.10); Rylee Bambara’s 100 Fly (-9.10); Brooklyn Davis’ 100 Breast (-27.51) and 100 Free (-13.27); Zoe Thaller’s 100 Breast (-17.92) and 100 IM (-14.74); and Jamason Trout’s 200 Free (-32.78); and many more, including a few first-time swims.

A few of our swimmers even placed within the top-8 spots, including Rylee Bambara (4th in the 50 Free, 6th in the 200 Breast); Julia Dutzi (8th in the 100 IM); and Greg Jaromski (8th in the 200 Breast).
