Berg, Hollar, & Kern In The Zone at Webster, NY

Congrats to Reese Berg, Ty Hollar, and Jonathan Kern  for qualifying for the Eastern Zones Age Group Championships. The crew traveled to the Webster Aquatic Center in Webster, NY (near Lake Ontario) to compete against some of the fastest swimmers in the Northeast. They had a bunch of exciting swims over the four day meet and had a blast!

The effort and competitiveness exhibited by them yielded 5 Personal Best Times (of their total of 17 splashes), with some great swims like Reese’s 200 Breast (-0.03, a new Club Record!); Ty’s 100 Back (-0.54) and 200 Free (-1.93); Jonathan’s 50 Free and 100 Back. 

NJB was well-represented in Finals with Reese qualifying for her 200 Breast and 200 IM, and Ty with his 100 Back and 200 Free. The points earned by own few swimmers helped NJB place 70th of the 191 teams! 

What an incredible finish to a fantastic short-course season. Great job, everyone!
