Swimmers on Fire at July Heatwave Meet!

There were some incredible performances at the MAY July Heat Wave at Princeton University over the weekend.

Our crew earned 17 Top-8 finishes, with First Places swum by Ty Hollar (200 Back, 1500 Free, 800 Free); Jonathan Kern (100 Free); Nathaniel Kern (100 Fly, 200 Fly, 50 Fly, 50 Free); and Hannah Wilson (100 Back, 200 Back, 50 Back)!

Personal Best Times were achieved by Anna Apostolou (-4.72 in the 50 Breast); Ty Hollar (-2.38 in the 200 Back); Jonathan Kern (-0.71 in the 100 Free); Nathaniel Kern (-2.53 in the 200 Fly, -0.03 in the 50 Free; Briella Selby (-0.95 in the 100 Free, -3.84 in the 50 Back); Sam Taylor (-1.14 in the 100 Free); Evan Weinberger (-3.07 in the 50 Free); and Hannah Wilson (-1.62 in the 200 Back). There were also 12 First-time swims. All combined, 22 of our 38 splashes were new marks!

A special congratulations to Hannah Wilson for earning her first-ever US Open and Junior Nationals cuts in her 200 Back! Wow!
