'Cudas Soar at HAWKS Meet

Our ‘Cudas hit the road again, this time to Montgomery NY, to compete at the 2025 Hawks Trials & Finals at Valley Central High School. Hundreds of swimmers from three different LSC’s including NJ Swimming, Metro Swimming, and Adirondack Swimming took to the blocks for an exciting and competitive weekend of swimming. Our 29 attending athletes swam personal bests, top places, a few team records, and more.

Our crew had the announcer calling out “North Jersey…” regularly, with a ton of top places including four Firsts by Reese Berg (400 IM); Julia Dutzi (100 Back); and Ty Hollar (1650, 200 Free). 

Diving in for a hefty 111 splashes throughout the weekend, our swimmers swam to 72 Personal Bests, with an additional 5 being first-ever swims! Many were big accomplishments, like Carter Bambara’s 100 Breast (-16.11); Josh Bigora’s 100 Breast (-5.89); Brooklynn Davis’ 200 IM (-8.61); Julia Dutzi’s 100 Breast (-12.96); Ty Hollar’s 1650 (-14.38); Marcus Innamorato’s 200 Back (-7.12) and 200 Breast (-9.74); Kaylee Moss’ 200 Free (-5.29); Caroline Turner’s 50 Breast (-12.08); Autumn Wintermute’s 100 Back (-7.93); John Wintermute’s 100 Fly (-5.80); and many more!
