Striking Gold at 12&U Silver Bronze Championships!
It was an exciting weekend of swimming at the New Jersey Swimming 12&Under Silver Bronze Championships at NJIT in Newark this past weekend. Our ‘Cudas brought the magic, with top places and Personal Bests aplenty!
Our NJB swimmers took to the blocks for 60 splashes over the weekend, and stepped out with 37 Personal Best Times! While all were awesome, some rose to “wow” status like Ana Apostolou’s 50 Free (-11.60); Carter Bambara’s 100 IM (-14.12); Mia Czinkota’s 100 IM (-7.05), 200 Free (-12.02), and 50 Fly (-5.62); Julia Dutzi’s 100 IM (-5.47) and 50 Back (-6.91); Jake Pando’s 100 Free (-5.23); Briella Selby’s 500 Free (-9.65); Caroline Turner’s 100 IM (-5.64); and Autumn Wintermute’s 500 Free (-27.71); just to name a few! Our swimmers just keep getting faster, and we’re so proud of them!
We had a slew of top-finishes, including impressive Firsts by Ana Apostolou (200 Free) and Julia Dutzi (50 Back)!
A special shout-out to a pair of our 10&Unders Julia Dutzi (100 Fly, 100 IM, 50 Back, 50 Breast) and Caroline Turner (50 Free) for punching their ticket for NJ Swimming Gold Championships in March! Good luck to them!
Congrats to all and a great season, and see you in April for our banquet and when we get going again for the Long Course season!
