NJ Swimming’s 12&Under LC Silver Bronze Championships
Our qualifying swimmers had a great meet at this season’s NJ Swimming’s 12&Under Silver Bronze Championships at Princeton University this past weekend. Denunzio Pool saw many exciting swims by swimmers throughout the LSC over the two day competition.
Our 11-12 200 Medley Relay (Sam Taylor, Autumn Wintermute, Nataasha Bhagaloo, Julia Dutzi) started the weekend off with a great showing, dropping over 14 seconds and placing 6th. The same crew hit the blocks on Sunday for the 11-12 200 Free Relay dropping over 7 seconds and touching in 5th with an exciting, come-from-behind 5th Place finish.
Our attending swimmers rose to the occasion and swam really well, earning a few top places and some Personal (LC) Best times. Some standouts were Julia Dutzi who cumulatively dropped over 35 seconds in her 6 events, and Autumn Wintermute who dropped just shy of 12 seconds. Autumn also touched in a Third Place finish in her 50 Breast, punching her ticket to NJ Swimming’s Gold Championships!
Congrats to all of our swimmers on a successful meet and fun Long Course Season. And good luck to our swimmers at Golds.
Just a reminder that our regular practice schedule has now ended; those swimmers who are moving on to Golds will be contacted regarding their training schedule. Short Course info for the Fall will be out shortly. Enjoy the rest of the summer!
