NJ Swimming’s 13&Over LC Silver Bronze Championships
What an exciting showing at this season’s NJ Swimming’s 13&Over Silver Bronze Championships at Rutgers University this past weekend. They joined hundreds of swimmers from throughout the LSC for a weekend of fast swimming, splashing in a number of Personal Bests and Top Places.
All of our attending swimmers earned Personal Best (LC) times including Chris Jaromski’s 100 Free (-1.34); Ty Hollar’s 100 Breast (-3.12), 100 Free (-1.36), 200 Breast (-0.01), 50 Back (-0.68), and 50 Free (-0.34); and John Wintermute’s 100 Back (-22.46), 100 Fly (-3.18), 200 Fly (-2.97), 50 Fly (-1.18), and 50 Free (-0.23). All told, those three swimmers dropped 36.67 seconds of time cumulatively in 11 of their 14 events!
Despite the volume and level of competition, those amazing time drops resulted in a bunch of Top Places by Ty Hollar (9th in the 200 Breast, 5th in the 400 Free, 3rd in the 100 Breast, and 2nd in the 100 Free) and John Wintermute (4th in the 200 Fly)!
Congrats to all of our swimmers on a successful meet and fun Long Course Season. And good luck to our swimmers at Golds.
Just a reminder that our regular practice schedule has now ended; those swimmers who are moving on to Golds will be contacted regarding their training schedule. Short Course info for the Fall will be out shortly. Enjoy the rest of the summer!
