NJ Swimming's Gold Championships!

George Soutter

We had some great swims at this season’s NJ Swimming LC Gold Championships at Rutgers’ Sonny Werblin Rec Center this past weekend! With some fast times just to get into the meet, we are proud of our qualifying swimmers!

Rylee Bambara (100 Back) was seeded 33rd going into prelims, and splashed her way into 21st. Autumn Wintermute (50 Breast), a last-minute qualifier at Silver Bronze Championships, swam her way from a 92nd seed to a 79th finish. Ty Hollar was simply on a mission: starting off with a 25 second drop in his 1500 from just a few weeks before, he went on to make B Finals in his 200 IM (finishing 15), A Finals in his 200 Back (finishing 7), and accrued a bunch of LC personal bests in his 100 Back (-1.92), 200 Back (-5.49), 200 Free (-2.49), and his 200 IM (-0.66)- wow!

Congrats, swimmers! And that’s a wrap on another fun LC season! Enjoy the rest of the summer and see everyone in the pool this Fall!
