New Jersey Swimming Hosts Events on 10/4
October 4th is a busy day within our LSC. NJ Swimming is hosting two simultaneous events for swimmers in tandem with its annual HOD Meeting. All events will take place at the Jersey Aquatic Center in New Providence, NJ. We are canceling our regularly scheduled practices that day so that swimmers can participate. We will offer a Friday night practice for Juniors the night before so they don’t miss out on their water time.

Swim Across America for Cancel Research
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and we are proud to announce that New Jersey’s Athlete Representatives have organized a Swim Across America (SAA) event on Saturday, October 4th, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the Jersey Aquatic Center. Here is the link: https://www.swimacrossamerica.org/site/TR?fr_id=8581&pg=entry
Swim Across America is a national non-profit that has raised over $100 million to fund innovative cancer research, clinical trials, and patient programs at hospitals across the country. By swimming laps and raising funds, we have the opportunity to make waves in the fight against cancer while honoring survivors, remembering those we’ve lost, and supporting the researchers making breakthroughs possible.
Here’s how you and your team can get involved:
- Join us in person at the Jersey Aquatic Center on October 4th to swim and show your support.
- Donate online: Contributions of any amount make a difference, and every swimmer can play a role in helping us reach our fundraising goals.
This is an amazing opportunity for New Jersey Swimming athletes to unite for a cause that impacts so many families in our community. Let’s come together to show that our sport is about more than competition—it’s about making a difference.
Thank you for your support, and we look forward to seeing New Jersey Swimming come together to make waves in the fight against cancer.
