We had some great swimming this past week and this past weekend! First, Chloe Kim and Kathleen Turano represented Scarlet Aquatics at the National Championships in Indianapolis, Indiana and got to race with Olympians and other World Class swimmers. Congratulations to Chloe Kim as she made the World Junior Team in the 1500 Freestyle (16:30.92) where she will be representing Team USA in Romania on 8/19-24. This is Chloe's 2nd international team representing Team USA. Chloe also swam a great 800 Free (8:42.31) which ranks her #4 on our All-Time...
Congratulations to Stephanie Kim on earning her Summer Junior National cut in the LCM 200 Breaststroke with a 2:38.19. This places Stephanie as #6 on our Top 10 list. For a full list (click here).

Congratulations to all our Scarlet swimmers and families on a successful State Championship / Gold Championships weekend! Scarlet won the Gold Championships meet with a combined 9027.5 points (6272 points more than the 2nd place team) and won both the Men’s and Women’s categories. We had several new Sectional qualifiers as well as 1 New Team Record, 1 new Summer Junior National cut and 1 NJ Swimming Record broken. We had a great meet this past weekend at the Super Bowl Splash meet at Rutgers. Several best times and several New Sectional cuts as well as 2 New Team Records. Chloe Kim broke the team record in the 50 Free with a :23.28 and Chloe also broke the 100 backstroke team record with a :54.37. Chloe's 100 backstroke was also a Summer Junior National cut.
