8&Us Make a Splash at Mini Champs

Capturing gold in the Girls 100 Free Relay and the Boys 100 Medley Relay,  and silver for the Girls 100 Free Relay and Boys 100 Medley Relay, the 8&U Devilfish made a big splash at the at the 2012 NJ/USA 8 and Under “Mini” Championships on Sunday, February 19 at Seton Hall University.   Top 8 finishes include:

7&U Girls: Riley Gasson-4^thplace (25 Fly and 25 Back), 6^th place (25 Free).

7&U Boys: Aidan Trenery-1^stplace (25 Back), 3^rdplace (25 Fly , 5^th  place (25 Free), 6^thplace (50 Back and 25 Breast);  Benjamin Tretter- 8^thplace (25 Back and 25 Fly);  John Veres- 3^rdplace (25Back), 6^thplace (25 Free); Peter Youssef- 1^stplace (25 Free), 2^ndplace (25 Back and 100 IM) 3^rdplace (25 Breast).

8&U Girls: Natalie Lee- 2^ndplace (25 breast and 50 fly), 6^thplace (50 free) 8^thplace (25 free); Bridget Thomas- 1st place (50 Fly), 2^ndplace (25 Free and 25 Back), 3rd Place (25 Breast); Erin McKinney- 7^th place (50 breast).

8&U Boys : Roan Baker, 3^rdplace (25 breast and 100 breast), 5^thplace (50 free), 7^thplace(25 back ), 8^thplace (25 fly); Seth Comacho-  4^thplace(50 Fly and  25 Back), 8^thplace (25 Free);  Steven Gorelik- 8^thplace (25 Back and 25 Breast) .
