SHY 9-12 Invite Results are Posted

Results are in for the SHY 9-12 Invite held March 3 at Somerset Hills YMCA. Sixty-one Devilfish swimmers aged 9-12 competed against four area teams in mixed (all ages/boys&girls) events. Sixty-two percent of swimmers recorded at least one personal best time and several swimmers tried new events to establish a time.  Five swimmers qualified for NJ Junior Olympics: Congratulations to Ryan Bebel (11-12 100IM and 50Breast), Aidan Donohue (11-12 50 Breast), Julia McGann (9-10 50Fly), Devyn Tibbals (11-12 50 Fly) and Zach Youssef (9-10 50 Fly). Top 8 finishers include Matthew Barmakian (7^th- 100 Back); Eric Bebel (6^th-100 IM, 8^th -100 Free); Ryan Bebel (2^nd-100 IM, 4^th-100 Fly, 5^th- 50 Breast); Emma Conlon (5^th-200 IM, 7^th-200 Free); Aidan Donohue (7^th-50 Breast); Muriel Maloney (5^th-100 Back); Rory McGovern (8^th-100 Back); Griff Morgan (4^th200 Breast); Kyle Picut (5^th- 200 Free);  Alex Prystupa (6^th-200 IM); Emma Reilly (5^th-200 Back, 8^th-50 Back); Mackenzie Smith (2^nd- 50 Breast); Devyn Tibbals (2^nd-50 Fly); and  Nick Youssef (3^rd-100 Back, 6^th-50 Free and 50 Fly).
