SWIMKINS ARE AWARDED A BAUER FAMILY GRANT

Swimkins is thrilled to announce, we are the recipient of a grant from the Bauer Family Foundation! This educational grants monies will be used to specifically focus on the training of new coaches and to further hone the skills of our current coaches! We recognize that our team growth is limited by the number of available trained coaches and have been actively seeking ways to address this issue. The Bauer Family Grant will allow us to bring in Artistic Swimming specialists to help our coaches and athletes develop and expand their skills and training methodology. We have secured a flexibility and technical specialist Inga Shark and two international level coaches to help with acrobatic and element techniques. In the planning phase are workshops with sports psychologists and sport specific nutritional programs. The Board, coaches, athletes and families are very excited with these opportunities.
