BAC will be hosting Basic Tumbling and Preschool Tumble Time Classes at Cloverleaf Community Recreation Center!

The classes being offered now are Basic Tumbling and Preschool Tumble Time. Our preschool programs are designed for children 2-5  years of age and our Basic Tumbling is designed for those 5-14 years of age.  

There are many benefits of gymnastics for toddlers.  A developing toddler uses the world around them to learn new things.  Benefits of gymnastics include physical strength and stamina, motor skills including coordination, flexibility, and balance.  Social skills like patience, responsibility, and cooperation.  Activities like gymnastics can also help with spatial awareness, confidence, working memory, and social development.  

Basic Tumbling: 

Build your tumbling foundation with our Basic Tumbling class! This class is all about floor work, helping you perfect rolls, handstands, cartwheels, backbends, jumps, and more. It's a great way to prepare for cheerleading or dance, or simply to stay active and have fun. Ages 5-14.

This one-hour class is held on Wednesdays from 5:30 - 6:30 PM and the cost is $220 for the full session. This class will include 11 weeks of instruction beginning on Oct 1st (no class Wed 11/26 for Thanksgiving break) and will be charged in two installments.  The total for the class is $220 with $110 due at registration and the second payment due by 11/1/2025.

Tumble Time 2-3 Year Olds:

This fun class is perfect for active kids ages 16-48 months. Join us for 30 minutes of learning and play! We'll start with circle time activities, then explore the bars and beam, and finish with floor skills and stamps. Your child will learn basic movements, learn basic instructions, socialize with other kids, and have a blast!

Highlights:

• Circle time with stretches and fun activities
• Bar and beam circuit (swinging, hanging, balancing)
• Floor skills (rolling, jumping, cartwheels)
• Stamps for every kid!

Tumble Time 3

This is a fun and engaging class for children ages 3-5. Kids will learn basic gymnastics skills in a safe and supportive environment. This is the first class children participate by themselves without parents on the floor with them.  This class runs for 30 minutes.  During this time they'll practice balance, coordination, and flexibility through activities like:

• Circle time: Stretching and body positions
• Bar and beam: Swings, jumps, and balances
• Floor circuit: Rolls, jumps, and cartwheels
• Trampoline: Jumping and safe landings

This 30-minute class is held on Wednesdays from 10:30- 11:00 AM and the cost is $50 per session.

Tumble Time 4/5: 

This fun and engaging class is designed for children ages 4-5. Kids will learn fundamental gymnastics skills on the floor, bars, and beam. They'll also develop flexibility, agility, and balance. The class focuses on building a strong foundation with basic skills and body positions, all while having fun!  This class is 45 minutes long.  

This 45-minute class is held on Wednesdays from 11:00 - 11:45 AM and the cost is $60 per session.
