OHIO LC SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS (2/34-7/27/25)
Two Penguin high school swimmers competed at Miami University. Chloe Welsh was the PB leader with 7 PBs and qualified for Finals in the 50 Fly, 100 Free and 200 Free.
OHIO LC JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP (7/17-7/21/25)
A small but mighty group of five Penguin swimmers competed at Miami University and swam 5 PBs. Toby Naylor was the PB leader with 2 PBs and finished Top 16 in the 9-10 Boys 100 Free.
YCO SUMMER CHAMPS (7/12-7/13/25)
CONGRATULATIONS! The Penguins won their 21st consecutive Summer Champs over the weekend. Thank you to all the Penguin parents and volunteers who hosted a great meet at our Y.
The team swam 184 PBs and the PB leaders in the 11 & Over sessions were Scarlett Bolitho and Jack Terry with a 6 PB Sweep, and Lillian Turner swam 6 PBs. Nathan Fields had a 5 PB Sweep, and Joey Gemignani, Callie Gilmore, Abigail Norcia, Aanvi Shah and Rudy Vicetti swam 5 PBs. In the 10 & Under session, Sai Gujjala, Janie Li and Lakshya Sarda had a 3 PB Sweep.

The Penguins competed at Miami University over the weekend and swam 37 PBs. The PB leader was Emily Wolfe with 6 PBs and Sophie Hoffsis swam 5 PBs. Abigail Norcia and Rachel Weglarz competed one day only and had a 3 PB Sweep.
Noah Buschur swam a JC cut in the 13-14 Boys 100 Breaststroke.

The Penguins swam 38 PBs at Denison University. The PB leader was Sophie Hoffsis with 5 PBs. Alyn Jiang and Rachel Weglarz swam 4 PBs. Anderson Adams, Brady Brayer, Nico Brayer, Lillian Turner and Miles Wermert PB’d in both of the events they swam.

LTPY AT DELAWARE YMA (5.22.25)
The Penguins first YMCA meet this summer was at the Delaware YMCA. The team swam 32 PBs and Evni Don Gajanayakege was the lone PB Sweep swimmer (PBs in all three of her events). This meet was very early in the season, and while our veteran swimmers are still getting back into shape, they will continue to improve and hit their stride in the meets ahead.
Our new team members are making steady progress in practice, and we’re already seeing great results. Iyla and Caellum, who were timed in their meet events just the day before at practice, improved in every event at the Delaware meet. Way to go!

BUCKEYE SPRING CHALLENGE (5/17/24)
The Penguins swam 43 PBs in their first long course USA meet of the season at Ohio State on Saturday, and two swimmers swam the LC Junior Championship Time Standard: Brady Brayer, 9-10 Boys 50 and 100 Breast, and Toby Naylor, 9-10 Boys 50 Fly.
The PB leaders with 4 PBs were Keegan Flannery (Sweep), Toby Naylor (Sweep) and Sophie Hoffsis. Drew Malouf had a 3 PB Sweep, and Declan Fortney, Alex Hemsworth, Alyn Jiang, Rachel Weglarz and Ryan Zhu also earned 3 PBs. Alivia Buschur and Abigail Norcia received challenge awards for competing in all four 100 yard events.
