KMSC Season Kick-Off Party
KMSC families are invited to join the team Sat., Sept. 6 from 4-7:30 p.m. for the Marlins' Season Kick-Off Party. Come to the Lighthouse outdoor pool to swim and enjoy a relaxing afternoon with hot dogs, ice cold drinks, and potluck-style side dishes and desserts.
KMSC finished the long-course (summer) season in grand fashion, culminating with the Oklahoma Swimming Long Course Age Group Championship title. Now, September marks the beginning of the short-course season, when swimmers return competing in a 25-yard (or 25-meter) pool instead of the Olympic 50-meter pool. Many new families have joined the team in recent weeks, so this party is a great opportunity to hear more about the team and meet other families.
It's also a good time to cool off in the pool before Fall officially arrives!
The details:
- KMSC Boosters asks that each family pay $10 at the door to help cover our basic party costs.
- Everyone needs to RSVP. Go to the Events tab. Find the KMSC Season Kick-Off Party and click Edit Commitment. Choose Yes if you are attending. In the Notes field, tell us how many total family members are coming.
- Each family should use the Job Signup for the Team Party under the Events tab ( Click here if you're logged in!) to let us know which side dish or dessert you're bringing.
- Come Sat., Sept. 6. to swim! Bring towels, suits, goggles, etc.
- We'll have drawings for prizes, so don't miss out!
- KMSC Boosters will host its first Annual Meeting during the party. Parents are invited to come and hear the latest updates from the Booster Club and ask questions. We have tons of new families, so bring TONS of questions!
