Help us give back to our community Sept. 20
KMSC and the KMSC Booster Club believe giving back to the community is important both as organizations but also in building the character of our young swimmers.
Therefore, we have volunteered to run a bicycle aid station at the upcoming RedMan Triathlon in OKC. This event is often regarded as a world-class triathlon and its organizers and the city take pride in this well-known event.
KMSC will be able to show our support for the community, and we can cheer on many of our parents and friends who participate in this triathlon. In return, the Booster Club will receive a donation from the Redman organizers for our time and effort. So this is a GREAT way to help raise money for your Booster Club.
Please commit to spending a few hours at our aid station on Saturday, Sept. 20.
- OU & OSU fans: You don't have home games to attend, so no excuses! :)
- We are requesting you commit to a four-hour shift, but please know we have some flexibility in the start times.
- The best part? Your entire family can take part! Yes, bring your swimmers and let them experience the excitement of the event and what it means to give back to other athletes and their community. (Kids under 13 must have an adult present.)
- Organize your time slot with other families/friends on the team. You won't be running a stopwatch or working computer ops. You can visit with your friends while you work.
- The week before the event, we'll make posters to cheer on the athletes. Redman triathletes will vote on their favorite stations. We can make ours the best (or at least the most fun)!
Sign up by logging onto kingmarlin.com. Go to Meets/Events tab and find the event for KMSC Redman Triathlong Volunteer Event. Click on the Job Signup button. If you're bringing mutliple family members, please indicate this in your notes field.
Thank you for supporting your community and your team!
