Coach Mark Chesser
 
Coach Mark Chesser is passionate about beach volleyball. Not only as a player and coach, but also as a  parent. His knowledge of the game brings a unique dynamic to his coaching style. He focuses on puprose, energy and attitude.
Mark has done a lot for the city of Jacksonville and growing the game of beach volleyball. Whether it is working with the younger girls just starting out or having open practices for his college age players he is a great assett to any program.
 
Coach John Goings                                             

John Goings started his volleyball career playing for his high school in Columbus, Ohio. After joining the Navy he tried out for the All-Navy Team (made it) and played for the Navy 14 of his 26-year Naval career. During the years he did not play for the Navy you could find him traveling and playing beach volleyball in many of the Pro/Semi-Pro volleyball tours throughout The United States.

JJVA Beach Director from 2018-2020

Played numerous AVP Qualifiers and qualified on the NVL Pro Tour.

Won numerous local and out of state Beach tournaments at the Open Level.  

Played and won in Open grass tournaments to include the "Triple Crown" in South Carolina and placed 3rd in Chicago at one of the largest grass tournaments in the United States, "The Luau" IFKYK

During this time John played in the CISM World Championships 2 times on the indoor stage (USA/Canada) and once on the beach (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil representing the USA Armed Forces.                                                                                                                                                                                                                    

Lauren Galinis  

With 6 years of NCAA Division 1 beach volleyball experience, Lauren served as a team leader and helped lead University of North Florida [UNF] to as ASUN Championship. Following her playing career she continued as a volunteer assistant coach.There she helped guide the team to anonther conference title and its' fisrt ever apperance at the National Championship.

Cuurrently she is the head beach volleyball coach at Beaches Chapel, where she played a key role in launching the school's beach volleyball program.
