Head Coach - David Moretz

Coach Dave has been a competitive swimmer throughout his entire life. After his collegiate swimming career ended at Susquehanna University, a DIII school in Pennsylvania, he transitioned to multisport events and open water racing. Over the past 30 years, Coach Dave has competed in some combination of swimming, biking and running races of most every distance from 5ks to Ironmans to ultramarathons. He has twice been ranked by USA Triathlon as the top aquathlete for his age group, placed 5th at World Championships in 2015, and was crowned National Champion in 2016. Coach Dave has ridden his bicycle across the United States, swam from Alcatraz dozens of times, completed the Catalina Channel crossing, and generally loves racing. When he's not at the pool, Coach Dave enjoys playing his piano, taking pictures and hanging out with his family and two dogs.

 

Coach - Cary Fulbright

Coach Cary has been a assistant coach for the YMCA Pacific Aquatic Club since 2005, and has coached swimmers for over 20 years. Cary swam competitively throughout his childhood and was captain of his high school swim team. He taught swimming for five summers at Trinity School Day Camp in New York City, and also helped coach the Trinity Aquatics Club for two years. Cary is a masters swimmer at the Presidio YMCA and an ASCA Level 2 certified coach.
