LAC Alum Bryson Huey/ LAC Sophomore Isaiah Silver
Hello LAC Families, this past week, LAC alum and UNLV Swimmer Bryson Huey was named MPSF athlete of the week. He had a great dual meet vs ASU, including splittling 18.6 on their medley relay for the freestyle leg. You can read about Bryson here:
Congratulations as well to LAC High School Sophomore Isaiah Silver. At the Pacific Swimming Awards Banquet he was awarded three National Age Group Awards for top ten rankings in the 14 year old age group in the USA:
7th in 200 FLY
8th in 200 IM
9th in 100 FLY
We are looking forward to seeing how many more great accomplishments we can celebrate this season. From Someone making the test sets to move from Bronze to Silver group, to someone making the National Team, every success helps us believe we can achieve what we set our minds to!
Thank you as well to all Families and Athletes who will be participating in the Swim-a-Thon for Open Heart Kitchen tomorrow. Thank you to LAC Seniors and to Coach Theresa for organizing it! You are helping us to fulfil our mission of creating leaders in and out of the pool, and you are helping people in our community who can really use our help!
Coach Alex S.
