Marlin Madness Meet

Mukunda-Krishna & Noogorn Tyson
Blue Heron Families,
We have uploaded NWAC Individual Event entries, NWAC Relay Event entries for all swimmers, Preliminary Timeline and Psych Sheet for the meet.  We are very happy to see our swimmers competing, we have 16 swimmers entered to swim - some are newer swimmers.  This will be the first "away" meet for some swim families, and to help prepare everyone please use the following as a guide for things to bring/pack:
  • Team Spirit!
  • Sleeping bag or blanket (for keeping warm and as cushions for the concrete seating)
  • Folding Chair / Camp Chair for comfortable sitting on the swim deck - there are not many chairs available.
  • Team Suit & Cap (plus backup)
  • Goggles (2 pair)
  • Swim parka or warm jacket (one that won’t hold in moisture)
  • Warm-up pants
  • Socks
  • Deck sandals
  • Brush, Shampoo and Conditioner
  • Towels (bring extra, a dry one is a luxury when you’re wet & cold)
  • Entertainment (cards, books, etc., for between events)
  • Dry Clothes for traveling home
  • Medications (asthma inhaler, Tylenol, etc.)
  • Money (for miscellaneous needs)
  • Ink pen/sharpie (for writing your events)
  • Healthy Snacks - fruit, bagels, juice
  • Water Bottle
    • Avoid colas, candy, and high sugar content snacks

Please plan to be at the pool 75-80 minutes prior to your swimmer’s session start time.  This will allow time for finding parking, swimmers changing into suits, warmups and the possibility that the meet is running a little faster than estimated.  Here is when NWAC swimmers should plan to be at the pool this weekend:

  • Saturday morning - 10&Under, Session 1 - 7:45 am
  • Saturday midday - 11&Over, Session 2 - 11:00 am
  • Sunday morning - 10&Under, Session 3 - 7:45 am
  • Sunday midday - 11&Over, Session 4 - 10:45 am

Thanks,

Ty Tyson
