Thunderbird swimmers perservered through extended competition sessions over the 3.5 day championships. TAC swimmers achieved a 91% best times rate acheieved across all competition events. We gained valuable learning expereince competing at champs. With successfull navigation of the extended sessions, proper warmup strategies and racing value, our swimmers have positioned themselves for great success at future championship competiton. Congratulations Ben, Caleb, and Finn!

  • Finn McFarland 800m Free
  • Finn swam a life time best 800m Free in 9:04.75 dropping over 15 seconds from his best time acheived at the 2025 IE Starlight Open Invitational.
  • The previous record of 9:06.97 was set in 2001 - a 24 year old record!
  • Congratulations, Finn! His achievment placed him on the podium with an 8th place finish.
