September Start Up News
Hello Thunderbird Families,
I hope everyone has been enjoying their time away from practices during our routine off-season period. It’s been nice to have some rest and relaxation, and we still have some more time for it, but we must begin to look for the start of our 2025-2026 season!
Important notes for September start up
September 1st: All billing begins
September 3rd: First day of practice for all groups
September 4th: Informative Parent meeting
- 5:00pm-6:00pm, FPFC Conference room
- Topics Including but not limited to
- Volunteer positions to support swimmers and team involvement at hosted swim meets
- Officiating recruitment brief to maintain ability to host swim meets
- TAC Booster board positions available and responsibilities
- TAC sport engine website navigation
- Practice and swim meet roles for parents
- Offered USA swimming memberships
- Facility benefits to your swimmers training group
September 20th: TAC Black vs. Pink Intrasquad
- First swim meet of the season
- perfect opportunity for parents to learn more about officiating and volunteering roles for team support and involvement
- Paired with team picture day

We’re excited to have you swim with us again! Coaching staff will begin to get back to work over the next two weeks leading up to the start of the season. We’ll build back our time slowly with our remaining off-season period. Personally, I’ll be wrapping up off-season by visiting my parents in the Chicago area.
