Time Standards!

December 14&U and WA State Senior Champs standards have been published to the website.

 

The Technical Planning Committee (TPC) has made the decision to discontinue publishing annual PNS "Gold/Silver" Time Standards. Traditionally the "Gold/Silver" Time Standards have been used as qualifying times for PNS meets such as the Age Group Invitational and LC A Series meets.

 

Based on meet entry data from the last few years at these meets requiring the use of time standards, the TPC will be using more meet specific standards to better balance meet participation across the LSC (Local Swim Committee). Meet qualifying standards for the November and February Age Group Invitational meets will be published by the end of next week and will be based on the previous year's 50% percentile time of each swimming event for each gender and age group.    

 

It is understood that coaches and swimmers have used the "Gold/Silver" Standards as important pieces of goal setting and tracking progress.
